French Prepositions Au, à la,  à l’, aux

Au, à la, à l’, aux = to, at, where
Use  au  + masculine words.  E.g. Je vais au collège.
Use à la + feminine words.  E.g. Je vais à la cantine.
Use  à l’    in front of any word beginning with a vowel
E.g. Je vais à l’école.
Use aux  +  all plural words, masculine or feminine
E.g. Nous allons aux magasins.

French Prepositions à + en

Use à + en to say how you travel
Eg:
en voiture    by car
en avion        by airplane
en bateau    by boat
en train         by train
en moto        by motorbike
à pied             on foot
à velo             by bike
(en vélo can also be used)

Present Tense of Aller

Je vais                I go
Tu vas                You go
Il/Elle va           He/She goes
Nous allons    We go
Vous allez        You go
Ils/Elles vont  They go

SELON la recette il faut les faire bouillir.
